Biography of Terry Hsu

Terry Hsu was born for arts, particularly the visual art. He started learning painting when Eneha Eytnh, a decamped Russian
aristocrat became his teacher when he was at 7 years old. For eight years, influenced with traditional classic painting training,
Terry had fun of painting portraits, animals and landscapes and it was when that he took the art as part of his life. In his youth,
Chinese oil painter Fanfu, Li unfolded him the book of all different artifices and genre. Terry was amazed of the art history and
challenged himself in all possible styles. At his twenties, Terry received trainings in sculpture and fabric print design, in Luxun Art
Academy, a well-known art academy in China. The career related art forms became more of his expression and turned out to
be his style. After his moving to Canada in 1999, Terry is inspired like never by the beautiful North American splendorous
landscapes and adorable animals. The travels give a feast for Terry’s heart and soul. He paints to share, with his friends and
families. The compliment & recognition from local shows in 2004 after his works being exposed, made him determined to be an artist
for rest of his life since 2006. He is identified as a Hyper realistic painter.

"Boundaries of art have no shape, colour and smell; therefore,
even if they existed, we would not be able to know that we have
stepped on them. If you seek art, you may find it in everything
around you. In landscapes, I find the most perfect work of art,
shaped and painted by the Creator himself."
